What is the Project schedule?
USPowerGen has started with preliminary meetings with stakeholders in the community. An Environmental Assessment Form (EAF) describing the project was submitted to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation on January 26, 2010. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) is scheduled to be completed by December 2010, together with the Air Permit application. The Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) is anticipated to be completed in 2011. Should the necessary approvals be obtained, construction would begin in the 2013 time frame with commercial operations beginning in 2015. Updates on the schedule, the environmental and public review process, and availability of project documents will be regularly posted on the website (www.uspowergen.com).
