Fore River Station
Fore River is a nominal 801 MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle intermediate load power plant located in North Weymouth, Massachusetts, approximately 12 miles south of Boston. Fore River commenced operations in August 2003 and uses the same highly efficient MHI 501-G technology as Mystic 8&9. The physical plant is substantially similar to each 801 MW block of Mystic 8&9, with the added capability of dual-fuel operation.
